Thomas Honohan is a Senior Advisor at Vantage Partners. His practice revolves around pharmaceutical organizations to help them build the capability to manage key complex relationships effectively.
Mr. Honohan has held positions of increasing levels of responsibility in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. At Pharmacia, he developed the global quality organization, established the Washington D.C. office for FDA Liaison, and chaired the quality section of PhRMA. At Glaxo SmithKline, he served as Vice President of Global Quality for R&D and Manufacturing, and was responsible for the integration of these global functions during the merger of SmithKline and Beecham.
At Aventis, he served as a member of the senior management team for R&D and lead the integration of the global R&D organizations at the merger of RPR and HMR while holding the position of Vice President of Alliance Management and Business Integration, where he built the current alliance management capability.
While with Vantage Partners since 2001, he has worked with a broad range of pharmaceutical and biotech companies to help them increase their capabilities in the area of alliance and collaboration management.
Mr. Honohan holds degrees in Biology and Biochemistry from New York University.
